Sally Quinn’s amazing about-face on Sarah Palin! (video embed)
Last Tuesday, Sally Quinn was downright angry with John McCain over his pick of Sarah Palin as a running mate (excerpt from WaPo)…
My first reaction was shock. Then anger. John McCain chose a running mate simply because she is a woman and one who appealed to the Republican’s conservative evangelical base.
Of course, that was before Sarah delivered her Wednesday night speech heard ’round the world. It is impressive when anyone has the courage to admit they were wrong, but it is all-the-more impressive when a Washington establishment liberal does so. Not just impressive…amazing!
Here’s what she said to O’Reilly on Fox (source: NewsBusters–video embed of interview below)…
SALLY QUINN: You pointed out the other night that you thought I was being unfair and that I had judged her before I heard her speak and that I knew anything about her and I think you were right. I thought that she was amazing in her speech. She was funny and smart and poised and confident and she gave a great speech, beautifully delivered, and I think she is going to be a formidable opponent. So all of that, I think I was wrong about her. And I didn’t know anything about her.
And, if you need hard evidence, here’s the Youtube video of the Quinn apology…
