Obama to Palin: “I’ve got you under my skin”
Of course Sarah has gotten under Obama’s skin. He is all artifice and device and she is an authentic two-fisted American woman.
It’s not even a fair fight. But it does present a great life lesson for the kids…and even for grown-ups who aren’t too far gone.
The point is this: why spend time trying to develop an outward appearance (as Obama has) when it is much more attractive (not to mention easier) just to be yourself? Authentic trumps contrived every time.
Actually, Karl Rove’s article today’s Wall Street Journal–”Obama Can’t Win Against Palin”–takes a slightly different angle…but the bottom line is the same.
Palin has gotten under Obama’s skin.

Yes Sarah has done a number on Obama and Joe Biden. I can remember back when I was bowling, I was very (well) good with a good 200 or better avg. I could beat the men but when I would have to bowl against women I would lose more than win! Just something about go up against women and when they’re good its even harder. Obama is in a tough fight that he will lose!
