In 2003 President Bush was prevented by the Democrats from overhauling Fannie and Freddie (see story here) and now we see that the same thing occurred in 2005 when Senate Republicans tried to correct the problem…

Our honorable members of the senate banking committee allowed their judgement to be tainted and their pocket books to be enhanced by accepting huge gifts from Fanny May and Freddie Mack. Senator Dodd, senator Obama, and other recepients please hang your head in shame. You either are too stupid, or too arrogant or too dishonest or all of the above to recognize that you committed good old fashioned theft from the taxpayers of America or you have the arrogance to rationalize that it was yours for hiding the dispicable lending practices of the two organizations from the public. Great oversight by honorable crooks!
And Obama thinks he should be president? This would be the most serious disaster in US History!
