In his press conference this week, the President has the audacity to stand before the America people (on television at least) and insult the flag and the country for which it stands. This incompetent pretender has the nerve to dishonor our flag–this flag for which so much American blood has been spilt–by refusing to stand beside it.

I thought this day would never come.
At last, the media is waking up to the idea that Obama is an incompetent leader. Chris Matthews of the formerly tingly leg is flushed with anger at Obama over his absolute and abject failure to take command of the Deepwater Spill. Unbelievable–and hugely satisfying!

This just isn’t going away.
According to Rove, the reason the American public can’t simply accept the White House claim of innocence in this matter is because of its well-established reputation for “moral callousness.”
As an illustration of this “moral callousness,” he reminds us how, in 2005, WH Chief of Staff Rahm Emanuel, then a Congressman, came into possession of email evidence of Rep. Mark Foley’s sexual predation on underage Congressional male pages.
Rather than take action to bring a halt to such crimes (by immediately submitting the evidence to the House Ethics Committee), Emanuel hid the evidence until the 2006 elections, when its political value would be greatest.

Apparently, even New Orleans democrats are angry at Obama’s complete lack of leadership on the oil disaster. Carville is so angry he literally screams at Obama (“we’re begging down here, we’re crying…we’re dyin’ down here…”).

Only time will tell, but Dick Morris contends that state and local governments will take back control of education, health care, and other issues from the Federal Government. He believes the prime mover of this change will be the GOP gains at the state level.
