The story line is that two scientists splice together human and animal DNA and the result is a hybrid who grows into a rather beautiful female creature (pictures below). Splice is directed by Vincenzo Natali and stars Adrien Brody and Sarah Polley as the two scientists and Delphine Chanéac as the fully blossomed hybrid, Dren.

In searching for a tape of that interview so that I might present it here, all I could find was this interview with Greta. Mukasey very succinctly makes the case that the Administration decision to place Abdulmutallab in a civilian court certainly put America at a great disadvantage in a manner approaching criminal negligence.
