Sarah’s next target: Jeremiah Wright?

Sarah did a good job of hitting the Obama campaign on his “recent” associations with unrepentant domestic terrorist Bill Ayers.

Yet, all the Obama camp and his adoring fans in the media could muster was “he was only 8 years old when the Weatherman bombings occurred.” Of course, that doesn’t begin to address the fact that Ayers is still strongly anti-American–his only regret of that time is that he didn’t set off more bombs.  And then there is this symbolic 2001 photo…

The question raised by the Ayers exchange, put to Sarah by Bill Kristol in a phone call yesterday (Source), is…

Obama surely had a closer connection to the Rev. Jeremiah Wright than to Ayers — and so…if Ayers is a legitimate issue, what about Reverend Wright?

She didn’t hesitate:

“To tell you the truth, Bill, I don’t know why that association isn’t discussed more, because those were appalling things that that pastor had said about our great country, and to have sat in the pews for 20 years and listened to that — with, I don’t know, a sense of condoning it, I guess, because he didn’t get up and leave — to me, that does say something about character. But, you know, I guess that would be a John McCain call on whether he wants to bring that up.”

I guess so. And I guess we’ll soon know McCain’s call on whether he wants to bring Wright up — perhaps at his debate with Obama Tuesday night.

Obama’s ACORN strategy

The reason Obama is so confident he’s going to win is that he plans to use the same tactics he used in Chicago. He will use the tactics he learned at ACORN. Here’s what Michelle Malkin has to say about ACORN…

Obama tied to Iraqi government fraud? (Aaron Klein-WND)

Obama might have been more active as a Senator than we thought.

Let’s see if this story gains traction. Excerpt and link…

Obama tied to Iraqi government fraud?
by Aaron Klein
WND

JERUSALEM – Sen. Barack Obama’s office engaged in six months of negotiations with a company controlled by convicted criminal Tony Rezko to lobby the U.S. government to push through a nixed $50 million contact to train Iraqi security personnel at a site in Chicago.

The contract was awarded to Rezko’s company while Aiham Alsammarae, a long-time, close Rezko friend and a contributor to Obama’s campaign, served as Iraq’s U.S.-appointed electricity minister.

Rezko was a major Obama fundraiser and associate for two decades.

Alsammarae also awarded another Rezko-controlled operation as part of a $150 million contract to construct a 250-megawatt electricity plant in Iraq.

Alsammarae later was arrested by Iraqi authorities for bilking the coalition government out of some $650 million. He was sprung from prison under questionable circumstances in 2006 and escaped from Iraq, where he is still wanted for questioning with regard to major financial crimes.

The information raises questions into the nature of Obama’s relationship with multiple deals made by Iraq’s Electricity Ministry while Alsammarae was in charge. Obama has ties to Alsammarae and to the recipients of several of the massive contracts Alsammarae handed out.

Obama Lies (Jeffrey Lord in “The American Spectator”)

Jeffrey Lord drives home a very solid point (that the Dem’s are sabotaging themselves) in his article today in The American Spectator, “Obama Lies.”

Here is an excerpt and link…

“You arrogant ass! You’ve killed US!”

The line comes from an enraged Soviet Navy officer to his superior, Captain Tupolev, in the film version of Tom Clancy’s thriller The Hunt for Red October. Clancy fans will remember Tupolev as the Soviet submariner tasked with destroying the Russian super-sub Red October, captained by Tupolev’s old teacher, the defecting Marko Ramius (Sean Connery). Egotistical, obsessed with getting Ramius, in the heat of battle the not very bright Tupolev impulsively launches a torpedo against the advice of his senior officer. Too late he realizes the torpedo has been led back to a target other than the Red October. At the very last moment he understands the horrible truth as his senior officer screams the line above seconds before Tupolev’s sub is destroyed — by the torpedo launched with Tupolev’s own hand.

Barack Obama is now in the process of being Tupoleved by the American Left. More amusingly, the American Left is in the process of being Tupoleved by the American Left. The torpedo? Two simple words repeated ad nauseam now for years. The words?

Bush lied.
