The Israeli-Hamas conflict: Obama’s first test of mettle

Five months ago, when he was visited Sderot, Obama didn’t mince worlds…

If somebody was sending rockets into my house where my two daughters sleep at night, I would do everything to stop that, and would expect Israel to do the same thing.

However, since the recent commencement of Israel’s counter attack on Hamas, Obama has deferred to President Bush. Soon (I presume) we will see if he stands with Israel in her defense of herself…or if he will join the chorus of those who always blame Israel.

“The Vultures Circle” (Ralph Peters)

Aggressive forces in the world are licking their chops to step up and take a swing at Obama. It’s almost like a carnival game…”Knock out the Anointed One” and win a prize.

And to think, Obama’s fawning fanbois thought they could take their skinny hero to the beach for a celebratory picnic. They didn’t count on those boorish neighborhood tough guys…eager to kick sand in “purdy boy’s” face and wipe away that ridiculous smile.

Heheh. It’s a dangerous time for our country, but we’ve gotta love the justice.

At any rate, Ralph Peters provides a nice summary of the situation so far in today’s NY Post (here’s an excerpt)…

The International Consequences of an Obama Presidency (Ralph Peters)

Obama brags about how he’s going to change the world, but Ralph Peters gives us an educated peek into just what that change will look like.

LTC Peters (in today’s NY Post) provides a country-by-country analysis of Obama’s “can’t we all just get along” foreign policy…

Where would the avalanche of confrontations come from?

McCain’s curve ball to Obama and the far left (Sarah)

As much as liberals believe an Obama loss would be a terrible thing (as Woody Allen said just yesterday “It would be a disgrace and a humiliation…“), a loss by Sarah would be humiliating to that part of America that isn’t so unashamedly dainty as Obama. By the way, have you ever noticed that Obama makes even Fred Astaire seem macho (no insult intended to Fred) ?

This election has certainly put American voters in a tough place. Before the conventions, this election’s battle lines were defined by Obama…young versus old, peaceniks against warmongers, light-bearers against un-evolved cave-dwellers.

But then McCain changed everything by throwing Obama and his devotees a curve ball.

Putin’s lesson for Obama: “words are for sissies!” (Ralph Peters)

“Words” may matter to Obama because he’s a Harvard-trained lawyer who can use them to find a “nuanced” way out of sticky situations, but Putin has demonstrated powerfully by his rape of Georgia that “words” only matter where there is rule of law.

Obama will go to Putin’s knife fight armed with a book of poetry. If he becomes our champion, we deserve what we get.

Ralph Peters covers this matter nicely in THE PEACE-AT-ANY-PRICE PERIL (NYPost).

Ralph Peters on Obama: Stunningly naive on national security!

In Ralph Peters’ current article in the New York Post, he doesn’t mince words about Obama’s painfully poor grasp of national security issues. He also makes another point that is completely new to our ears and shocking if true. Peters says:

Those who knew Obama in his university days claim that he couldn’t be persuaded to study history.

This would go a long way in explaining many of Obama’s gaffes and misstatements. If true, and we have no reason to believe Peters would make such a claim if not based on evidence, Obama would be as dangerously naive as he seems.

One can only hope that the MSM eventually comes to its senses and helps to expose this “Chauncey Gardiner” for the empty suit he is.
